Be a part of Team AMSA

Officers, Executive Board: Officers are elected by a majority vote of the general membership during our last meeting of the academic year, spring semester.  Tasks include establishing open communication with members and other leadership, among a lot of behind-the-scenes work to make sure the organization runs smoothly and that members are getting every opportunity to get involved and become well-rounded applicants to medical school.

Directors & Chairs: Directors and Chairs are an integral part of our organization and serve to plan a large majority of the events that we provide for our members.  From previous years’ trends, this is the pool that future officers are elected from. Applications and interviews are held in the early fall semester of each academic year.

Committee Members: Committee Members work hand-in-hand with our Directors and Chairs. They are important to AMSA’s success by carrying out various tasks that are needed to have an event come together. There is no interview or election for this, just the urge to be a part of the AMSA Team!
